GUIDELINES FOR ART BIN

ART PRESENTATION:

Art does not need to be matted but must be in a plastic sleeve (available on Amazon) with mat board or foam core behind it to protect the art.   All art must be original paintings or hand pulled prints.  No giclees, reproductions or computer reprints allowed.  All art placed in the bin must be entered on the bin registry recording the date placed in the bin, date removed and signature of person taking the art from the bin.  All sales must be recorded on the sales sheet.

QUALIFICATIONS TO PARTICIPATE:

Those artists who are exhibiting in a particular month and have signed up to meet their gallery sitting requirement may place 3 pieces in the bin while their artwork is hanging.  A 20% gallery donation will be collected for all sales.  Note:  nonmembers accepted into Foothills shows are not required to gallery sit.

PAYMENT FOR ART:

There will be no cash collection.  All artists who have a Venmo/Zelle/Square account may display a  QR code on the back of their artwork.   Alternatively, customers may pay by check.  Checks will be made out to the artist, not to Foothills and will be placed in the file cabinet in the back of the gallery.  Foothills is not responsible for nonpayment or fraudulent payment by customers nor for collection of payment not made at time of sale.
